Create a Zerotier account and create a network group#
Go to https://my.zerotier.com/login to create a Zerotier account.
After entering this screen, select Create A Network. At this point, the network list below will add an entry (or manually go to: https://my.zerotier.com/)
Enter a network group and copy the Network ID
Zerotier Windows installation#
Go to https://www.zerotier.com/download/ to download the Windows installation package and install it.
Open the Zerotier software from the Start menu, it will reside in the system tray at the bottom right.
Open the tray at the bottom right, right-click on Zerotier, check Start UI at Login, and then click Join New Network.
In the pop-up dialog, enter the Network ID you just copied and click the Join button.
Wait a moment, check the Zerotier status, and you have successfully joined the network group.
Then please go to Trust devices in the Zerotier network group
Zerotier Android installation#
Go to: https://github.com/kaaass/ZerotierFix, download the latest APK file at the Releases section.
Open the software, select the + at the bottom right, enter the network ID, and turn on the switch.
Then please go to Trust devices in the Zerotier network group
Zerotier Linux installation#
Go to: https://www.zerotier.com/download/, get the Linux installation command, which is currently: curl -s https://install.zerotier.com | sudo bash
Wait for the installation to complete.
Enter: sudo zerotier-cli join <Network ID>
. You can join the network group.
Then please go to Trust devices in the Zerotier network group
Trust devices in the Zerotier network group#
Go to https://my.zerotier.com/ and refresh the webpage to authorize the newly added devices.
The status will change to a green checkmark.
Actual use of Zerotier#
Each device that has joined the same Zerotier network group can access each other via Managed IPs.
